The city of New Roads, Louisiana is seeped with history and tradition dating back to its orgins of a trading post for French settlers in the 1720s. As the parish seat for Pointe Coupee Parish, New Roads and the oxbow lake, False River, is proudly called home to over 4,700 people in 4.6 square miles.
